MIHO MAEDA
HMONP Architect (Licensed Architect)
“Architecture must stir the soul”
Born in Japan and trained between Tokyo and Paris, Miho Maeda develops an architecture where space, environment, and humanity become one. A graduate with HMONP certification in 2015, she enriches her practice through training in raw earth construction and nurtures her artistic eye through ceramics. Her journey through renowned international firms has forged her signature: a sensitive architecture that reveals the essence of places. For her, each project is a mirror of its environment—human relationships, nature, the stories of the place—which she translates into pure and memorable spaces. This approach, nourished by her dual Japanese and French culture, manifests in particular attention to detail, light, and harmony, creating places that leave a lasting mark on the senses and memory.
STUDIO
Création de Studio Miho Maeda Architecture
Studio Miho Maeda Architecture designs spaces in constant dialogue with their environment. Our architectures allow one to perceive the rhythm of the seasons, to feel the presence of others and of oneself, to fully live a daily life that unfolds according to the people who inhabit the places. Each project becomes a sensory experience designed to anchor itself in the body and leave a lasting imprint.

Each project is born from deep listening to the context and the client's aspirations. Our approach prioritizes:
- Understanding the spirit of the place and ways of living
- The dialogue between the intimate and the world: nature, society, environment
- The rigorous selection of natural and bio-sourced materials
- A thoughtful environmental approach to reduce carbon footprint

We create balance between aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and narrative, shaping spaces that tell a unique story our clients can make their own and bring to life daily.

The studio supports clients throughout the entire realization, from planning to final delivery. Site supervision guarantees the quality of work, adherence to timelines, and rigorous selection of craftspeople and techniques employed. Each stage is guided by attentive listening, so that the architectural intention is faithfully respected, while honoring environmental standards and construction regulations.
