Villa MU

This dreamlike villa is born of the desire to create a place deeply connected to its environment. Set at the water’s edge, it inscribes itself into the landscape as a natural extension of the rock, letting the sea, the sky and the elements become the true protagonists of the project.

The architecture is conceived as a framework for experience. Each space invites one to perceive the variations of the place: the changing light of the seasons, the nuances of the sky, the movement of the wind, the scent of the sea air, the sound of the waves, or the silent presence of the landscape.

The house does not seek to offer a mere view of the sea, but an intimate relationship with it. The boundaries between inside and outside dissolve to allow a permanent immersion in the environment. The passing of time becomes an architectural material in its own right.

The project thus questions the notion of contemporary luxury. True luxury is not that of abundance, but of the essential: the quality of light, the beauty of a horizon, the sensation of a sea breeze, the calm of a misty morning, or the contemplation of a landscape in perpetual transformation.

This villa is conceived as a sensory refuge, a place where architecture fades to make way for emotions, sensations and the presence of the natural world.
